Just a quick announcement to let you know that we are no longer sending report cards. If you have a complaint feedback loop, make sure you are monitoring your spam complaints and not relying on the report card to alert you to complaint issues. If you don't have a feedback loop, you can apply for one here:

1. Even if this is a sad day for us ESPs, I would like to toss out a big thank you for the many years of report cards we did receive on behalf of clients. It was always really helpful in quickly directing us to problems on our network.
Please extend my gratitude to all of your colleagues who supported this effort over the years.

2. Just a possibly unrelated comment.
Am I the only one that has the most unpleasant experience using AOL of recent? The large photos of horrible looking gnashers are so unnerving.
To make matters worse, your eyesight, direct and peripheral, is subject to the onslaught and nothing can be done to stop this, you cannot minimize or close the stip. You're stuck with the grotesque images.
AOL have mercy and do something about these nasty ads.
Thank you.

3. I, too, would like to thank you for the report cards we received. Thanks very much, AND thanks for the heads-up!

4. Yemi,
Which ads are nasty? Can you tell me what product the ad is for, and what page on AOL you are seeing it (i.e., the aol.com home page? The AOL mail page?).
Please submit the additional information here and I will follow up with you: http://postmaster.aol.com/waters/other_issues_form.html

5. Please contact me ASAP, there is nobody at AOL that seems to know why I'm being blocked from sending mail to my clients. I'm not a spammer and I keep submitting all your automated forms, etc, but keep getting blocked. I'm begging you, this is ruining my business since I can't email my clients who have AOL addresses. I will provide you with any information you need to confirm who I am.

6. @David R, I see that you have submitted a support request today and that your issue has been resolved.

7. Christine,
I'm not sure this is the case, things still seem to be disappearing and none of my test emails to clients have been replied to. I'm fully expecting to get a boatload of "message delivery delayed" notifications early tomorrow AM. This has been a nightmare and I do appreciate your response, but the road I took to find you was long, frustrating, and a bit absurd. Any help you can provide to make sure it's actually working would be appreciated. I've tried sending since the "resolved ticket" came through and it still doesn't work.

8. @David R., your issue was resolved yesterday, and the email response you received should have stated that you need to wait 1-2 business days for your delivery to improve. Your ISP unknowingly assigned you an IP address that was blocked by AOL. You should be able to send by about 10 AM tomorrow morning.
Every blocked email from AOL contains an URL directing you to our postmaster site with instructions on how to request support.

9. Oh, I hope you can help me. I run a site that handles online promotion for writers and I send out 20-30 newsletters each month to mailing lists ranging from 2,000 to 1110,000 members. We are signed up for the AOL feedback loop and always remove every single request we receive. We also comply with all good practices for bulk mailers (double opt-in, unsub and contact information on every single newsletter, etc.)
For some reason today my aol subscribers started bouncing with a 554 error.
I went to fill out the support form here: http://postmaster.info.aol.com/waters/sa_form.html
but each time I click "submit" I get this error message:
"Form not submitted
It seems as if the telnet test results you have given are not in the same form as what the telnet test page specifies. Please paste the complete output from the telnet test into the field. Please hit the back button on your browser and try again."
However, I'm following the precise instructions given here: http://postmaster.info.aol.com/tools/telnet.html and pasting the exact response I get:
---------------------------
554 (RLY:B1) http://postmaster.info.aol.com/errors/554rlyb1.html
Connection to host lost.
--------------------------
Since the form will not submit, I cannot reach anyone to help me with this issue. I would appreciate any assistance you could provide. I'm feeling rather desperate as it's impossible to reach anyone via email or phone at AOL for these types of issues.

10. Hi,
Like Cissy, I can't submit a removal query. In my case, the error is related to the DNS section. I pasted my DNS response, and tried several but nothing is accepted.
Some outgoing mails for AOL / Netscape mailboxes are still considered as spam, and are in my outgoing queue since several days.
Thank you for your support.

15. @everet, if you go to help.aol.com and search for "popups" you will find instructions for disabling popups. You can select your marketing preferences here: https://marketingpreferences.aol.com/index.php. On the AOL software you can go to keyword "Pop-Up Controls"
